Calling all neighbors and local history buffs!

Join us for the premiere screening of 'The Story of Highland Park Neighborhood,' a new, original video exploring Highland Park’s 170+ year history, unique features & notable residents.

Written/presented by local history expert Caroline Cook (of Grand Rapids Running Tours), this enjoyable and informative video is appropriate for all ages.

This is a FREE event.
Light refreshments will be offered.

The event will be held in the gymnasium at Emerald Flats (formerly, Eastern School). On-street parking is available along Eastern Ave., Emerald Ave., and Malta St. Signage will be posted to direct you into the gymnasium.

After the screening, we invite you to join us outside (weather-permitting) for a volunteer cleanup of Eastern Park, on the campus of Emerald Flats. Tools, bags and gloves will be provided.
